I think that both commercials wants to persuade us by different ways. In the first one they want to show us the important of the security belt, and in the second one to be responsable when we drive. They both want us to be shocked, they show us that if we arent responsable we can loose our lives like in the second case, or in the first one they also include the family that is one of the most important things in our lives and we can loose them without the bell too.
They use regular folks to make people think that it can happen to all of us and that shocks us more.
I think that the second one is better than the first one because it calls more our attention, also more to adolecents that are starting to drive it may help them to be more responsable when they drive. The first is good too because of the use of the family it shows the importance of the security belt bue also the importance of the family because they made an imaginary belt when he was driving and he had an accident.

    Hi miss.

This two propagandas are non competitive. The purpose of the first one is to get people to use the seat belt and the second one is to make people respect the traffic laws becuase we can see what can happen if you dont.
The first propaganda use the following techniques: phisycal control, becuase it use the fear, and plain folks, becuase they appear common people, just like us.
The second one use the following techniques: phisycal control, plain folks, slogans and technical tricks.
I think both of them are very effective because are very shocking and this things happen actually every day.
I think the second one is more efficient becuase is more shocking.

this are ads, that shows the reality of our life and want to change it.
this ads are for everyone who have problems is their life.for example poverty, suicide , contamination , women hitting by her husbans.
the techniques use are glittering generalities for example in one presentation said poverty shouldn´t be a life sentence.with this sentences be see that this phrases impact you. an other techique is plain folks, use ordinary people anda shows that thing happen to everyone.
the expected effect on audience is that show the reality, what happen in our society and if we are going to let this thing happening.
the one that impact me more was one about anorexia, because many girls now have this disease, they suffer it.and is true that they want to be thin because they see all the models that are like barbies. and i think that this is one of the problem in our society, were people don´t accept how they are and always want to change to be accept.

    Hello miss

Well, both propagandas are non competitives because their main porpouse is to inform us the risk of driving without folowing the laws.

The main porpouse of the first propaganda is to awareness the society in using the seat belt. The thechniques it uses are:

    - Psychological control
    - Camera tricks
    - Plain folks

And the main porpouse of the second propaganda is to awareness the society about the accidents you can cause if you dont follow the laws, in this case maybe the limit speed. The techniques it uses are:

    - Slogans (expect the unexpected)
    - Psychological control
    - Plain folks
    - Camera control

I think both of them are very effective because they are very shocking and also because it shows real situations that we can see every day in our country.

The first propaganda faces the idea of wearing the set Belt from the family perspective. the porpouse it´s obvious, tries to make people aware of what you can lose if you don´t wear the seat belt and crash. it uses several techniques, first of all the music a very important element in both propagandas. In this case it´s a very calm music untill he craashes tha is when the music emphasizes.Another technique is when the mother ande the daughter make a human seat belt to protect him, this is a kind of metaphor becuase taht belt represents your family and what you don´t want to loose. It´ s a very effective propaganda for adults most of all.
The second propaganda shows a couple that goes for an ordinary ride and crash.it´s a common propaganda of car crashes that shows the crash and shocked you with horrible images. But what makes this propaganda special is the techniques it use. First os all the music: it starts with a calm music when they first come in the car and it begings to acelerate untill they crash. Another technique is the gender role becuase it shows the boy that take control of the car (he drives) and the girl that tell him to stop but he dioesn´t listen. It´s a very effective propaganda becuase at the beging you don´t know what is about and the musci cathes you at once ande then it make you rethink of your driving.

ºEmbrace life-always wear your seat belt
PURPOSE: is to take awareness of how important is to use the seat belt and how it would prevent you of an accident.
ADVERTISEMENT TECHNIQUES: technical tricks, the music plays a very important role, colors, shades, camera angles and lighting. Psychological control, fears, and plain folks.
EFFECTIVNESS: it is very effective because it is very convincing and it shows you how you can save your life just using the seat belt.
    ºCar crash for another perspective
PURPOSE: is to show you that you must expect what may not happen. So you should be careful while driving.
ADVERTISEMENT TECHNIQUES: again the music plays a very important role because it describes the situation in the different moments of the driving, technical tricks, camera angles and lighting, psychological control and plain folks.
EFFECTIVENESS: it is very effective because it shows you what could happen if you aren’t careful when you drive and the final phrase “expect the unexpected” makes you think that every day you are exposed to risks so you should prevent them.
Although I consider the first one more effective because of the slow sequence that demonstrate you the horrible situation of living a car crash also using the seat belt. So it makes you think how worst would be the accident if you weren’t using it.

Hi miss i posted wrong in the other winsow here its okey im ricardo

in both commerials the PURPOSE is to show how vulnerable are we while are driving, is to make you more responsable.in the first one the first one is focusin the use of the seat belt and in the second one not to drive fast.

The EFFECTIVENESS in both advertisments is very good.showing th fact of what means cars driving in different ways both are very effective.
    ADVERTISING TECHNIQUES:
in the two ads its used regular folks and technical tricks (the music is very important in both because it accompanies very well the situation of the video)
also its used psychological controls (it shows pain ad suffer)
both commercials have the same reaccion in the audience but in different ways.they differ in the way how it is shown.
the first one is only a sham of an accident and the second one is more directly, more real.
in my point of view both commercials are very efficiently in different ways

These two commercial are non-competitive ads because their purpose is to make us rethink about certain human behaviors towards road safety. Although they are not trying to sell us any product or service, they unconsciously biased to sway our opinion and arouse a change of attitude on us. That is why they are both going to appeal to our emotions, showing us shocking images. They are effective because they are adressed to the heart, not to the mind.
Because this advertisement are manipulative they will use a huge variety of techniques to send their worthwile messages as clearer as posible. For example, they both use the plain folks techniques: ordinary people in ordinary situacions doing daily activities like gathering with family al evenimg maybe, or driving with someone to work, shopping, etc. This gives us the idea that what happens in the comercial can happen to us any day. We can also notice that beside the representations, they have written which use words like “embrase” and phrases like “expect the unexpected”. These words have a very connotative meaning because they actually make reference to advices as “wear your seatbelt” and “look out for thr possibility of an accident” but instead of saying it directly the figure out interesting an deep-calling messages using unusual words. This shows that advertising has a truky and powerfull use of language in order to persude us.
We have already said that this ads are biased on our emotions to send truthfull messages, but the way and the mood they will use can be very different. For example, we can think of the music played in both and see they are completly opposite. In one, it is very calm and soft, and associated with the slow motion of de video. They can be considered as a way of appealing to our emotion softly and awaking on us feelings of sadness an petty, but also relief in the end. Also the expresions on people faces, who seem very worry and frightened. Whereas the other ad starts with soft-like music that becomes faster and faster, heavier and heavier, until the climax of the accident is reached and the music goes down again. This shows how, by associanting the different stages of the video with certain music, feelings of excitement and anxiety can be created in the viewer, which end up in shock when the consecuences of the accident are shown. This helps a lot when leaving the message clear. What is more, this ad also has an excellent work with the lyrics of the music that match perfectly with the situations shown. To give an example, just before the crashing AC DC´s “highwell to hell”, a very well known song, is played. The lyric itself makes us have an idea of what is going to happened, so it´s predictable. And also helps the subconscious work that joins the ad, like that the words “highwell to hell” not only refer to the road that leads to the accident, but also the accident as a road leading to the real hell which will mean the consecuences of the crash, such as the huge and heavy guilt and remorse the driver will experience after killing this young girl and destroyed a family. This really gives us strong things to think about.
I think they are both really effective because, as they are so complex, they have lots of resources to convince you about their view, which is definitely a good lesson for our lives. However, they work totally different, reason for what they both are original and interesting. I found the ad that says “embrase life” better because it ends in a happily. For me this makes the diffrence when thinking about the benefits that wearing the seatbelt has. On the other hand, the other ad is very shocking and annoying to me. I think it only makes you be afraid, what might be usefull for learning, but things can be taught without being so morbid.
